Due to COVID-19 precautions, there is an option to purchase your own face mask kit as a class supplement add on when registering. The kit includes 1 adult/child face & 1 infant mask with one way valve, wipes and gloves in a zipper pouch that is yours to keep and use if needed for performing CPR.

American Heart Association recommends each student have a copy of the student Basic Life Support Provider manual copyright 2020 for classroom courses readily available for use before, during, and after the course. Textbooks are designed for individual use and are an integral part of the student's education. You can purchase the book or ebook at Worldpoint Medical at www.worldpoint.com (item #20-1102 or digital ebook version item # 20-3102 for $14 and paperback for $16) or through the American Heart Association at www.shopCPR.heart.org

We are offering individual or small group practice & skills virtual sessions using Zoom meeting or in person sessions at your office or business for the Heartcode blended learning classes. For the virtual session you will need to have video on your phone, tablet, or lap top. You must purchase & schedule curbside pick up of a Safety Basic's manikin kit & meet a Safety Basic's staff member in the parking lot at St. Louis County Oakbend Branch Library at 842 S. Holmes Ave, Kirkwood, MO 63122 or St. Louis County Headquarters Library at 1640 S. Lindbergh, St. Louis, MO 63141 at a mutually agreeable time. The kit is not library property.. The kit is returned after training for a partially refundable fee once kit is returned in good condition or can have shipped via USPS and ship back with pre pre printed shipping label. 2 year American Heart Association BLS Provider electronic completion card emailed the day of class or next morning for evening classes for pre-paid reservations upon successful completion of skills and multiple choice testing for classroom course or practice and skills session. Digital cards can be viewed, printed, or emailed at anytime during your certification cycle.

Heartsaver
Training recommended for the lay rescuer requiring a completion card for job or volunteer requirements such as personal trainers, massage therapists, home health or nursing home staff, factory or construction workers, office staff who have an AED, church staff, coaches, teachers, childcare workers, foster or adoptive parents.
